About Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) The Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) is Papua New Guinea’s principal economic regulator and consumer protection authority. Established under the ICCC Act, the Commission is responsible for promoting fair competition, protecting consumer interests, and regulating key industries to support sustainable economic growth. The ICCC oversees a wide range of regulatory functions, including price regulation, industry licensing, market monitoring, regulatory contract administration, and enforcement of competition and consumer protection laws.
